Recently I’ve been playing around with some new beauty products and wanted to share some of my favs to help beat the summer heat! It’s been a rough few days here in Miami and I know most of you are also struggling through some tough temps all over, so I’d love to hear about some waterproof products you love!

At a Swim Week event, one of the gift bags I received included the following items from Tarte Cosmetics: Park Avenue Princess Matte Waterproof (yes waterproof!) bronzer, Lights, Camera, Splashes waterproof mascara, and their facial tanning towelettes. Let me just say that this is BY FAR the best bronzer I have tried in a very long time. There is nothing muddy, sparkly or shimmery whatsoever. It is pure perfection and the waterproof component is amazing during this sweltering heat in Miami. I can’t say enough about this product, and at $30.00 it’s at a great price point. I had never tried facial tanning towels before, so I tried these over the weekend, just in case it turned into Orangeville, but much to my surprise I was happy that they did not smell like fake tanner and within an hour, I had a slight glow that was a nice base for my evening makeup. I’d written about Rosie Jane Cosmetics a while back, and the brand discontinued most of their cosmetics except for the one cult item that tons of makeup artists swear by. In June, they repackaged their cheek gloss, luckily with the same colors & names and I have been using mine all summer long. Their new “Essentials Cheek & Lip Gloss” comes in poppy, marigold and rose. I use the rose for a pink flush and marigold for a bronzy evening look. And did I mention that they smell amazingly like coconut tanning lotion? A great steal at $20 for one pot and it really stays all day long!
