Chanel Fall 2018 Looks

It’s been a pretty brutal summer here in Miami Beach, and typically I love the summer, but this one has been particularly rough & humid. With that being said, a small change of the seasons brings me to a fun change in my makeup and skin care routines. I recently spent some time with the Chanel beauty advisors at Nordstrom to pick out some new goodies to transition my summer tan look into an October kaleidoscope of Autumn tones.

It was my first time trying the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation (#1) , and I really liked the finish. It is just enough coverage for work/daytime and it feels very light and velvety during the application process. Having an SPF of 25 is definitely a bonus, so I am really glad I tried this coupled with a longtime Chanel favorite, the Les Beiges powder (# 4).  The Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sticks ( #2 & #3) are great to keep in your makeup bag or even in an evening clutch. Just a few swipes gives such a natural glow, and the color ranges are very nice. I love the pale pink for work and the bronzy tone for evening or contouring.

Chanel lipsticks are anything but boring- they are luxurious, creamy, and glamorous…even their matte lipsticks are not “true mattes,”  they are not drying whatsoever and they never feel cakey by the time you get to lunch! Their Coco Shine line is very lightweight and have a sheer finish. Reveuse (#7 Above) is such a pretty pale pink and I love it for work. I also picked up Deauville from the Coco Shine line, which is more of a dark nude/brown, perfect for Fall. The Rouge Allure Matte Ink in Warm Beige is also making its way into my Fall rotation.

 

 

The Chanel brow pencils in Brun Natural (#5) & Brun Cendre (#8) are great for just filling in the brows and I like that the two brown tones above for mixing. I have never tried the Chanel primer before, so I am looking forward to trying their Le Blanc Illuminating Base, pictured below.

To top it all off, I had to replenish my favorite Chanel blush, Rose Bronze. It it so elegant and simple for daytime, and I love how it smells like tea roses. Do you have any favorites from Chanel? Have a beautiful day! ~xo, J~
