It’s that time again! Time to break out your most comfortable shoes and some fab street style outfits to prepare for Swim Week. Formerly Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, SWIM MIAMI, Funkshion Swim and several other names, the tents are up and South Beach is ready for a hot & sweaty weekend of fun.
Honestly, I miss the old days when you would just set up camp at The Raleigh Hotel and go back and forth btwn the two tents. Suboo, Beach Bunny, Caffe, 6 Shore Road, Mara Hoffman…so many amazing names used to grace those tents. Now it’s pretty much all over the place…with the main “Paraiso” tent on 21st and Collins Avenue being the central hub, so to speak. Many other events are happening around town at the Faena, W South Beach, etc. Paraiso will feature top brands such as Monday Swimwear, Aguaclara (my fav from last year), Monica Hansen, Acacia & more.
Most events are still by invitation only, but there are some parties and trade shows that are open to the public. For more information, visit Fashion Week Online here.
Fashion Week Online also shows the most robust schedule of fashion shows that will be taking place over the next 4 days. You can view it here.
Happy swimming and I’ll see you on South Beach ! ~xo, J~ 🙂
