Ever since I was a little girl playing on my Grandmother’s dressing table, I have always been such a sucker for beautiful beauty products. Blue compacts as bright as the ocean, classy ruby-red lipsticks in gold tubes, dusting powders with puffs as soft as cotton. This post was inspired for my love of some products so beautiful you almost hate to use them.
Happy December friends! Now that Thanksgiving has come & gone and we are seeing candy canes, wreaths and glittery decor everywhere, why not take some time to pamper yourself before all the craziness begins. After all, you have to look your best for all those parties, office events, shopping excursions and family dinners! Below are some products that I absolutely adore for a little glamorous pampering, and a few that are on my wish list for Santa!
May Lindstrom’s Blue Cocoon beauty balm concentrate is surely on my wish list this year. I was able to try a sample of this magical balm and let me just say- WOW! I’m pretty sure this is the fountain of youth in a jar, but I cannot be certain.
This sculpt & glo duo by Lily Lolo is something I came across online and really want to try. Sometimes these highlighting compacts are too shimmery for my liking- but a little sparkle & shimmer for the holidays is just what Santa ordered! 🙂
Herbivore Botanicals is also a brand that I recently stumbled upon. I read about their blue lapis oil and simply had to try. I’ve been using Kiehl’s Midnight Concentrate Oil for years, and LOVE it, but wanted to try a new facial oil for the Winter (Not that we get winter here in Miami, but you know…lol!) I purchased the small $29 roller-ball size, just to try it, and the scent and non-greasy feel is absolutely lovely. I like wearing it to bed and waking up feeling like I’ve slept for 10 years. It leaves my skin very smooth and refreshed….almost like a sleeping facial.
Yves Rocher is a brand I’ve been using forever, and their annual Holiday collections are always beautiful. This year, I ordered this stunning powder, which definitely is almost too pretty to use. It’s perfect for an evening event, because just a few sweeps of a big brush gives your skin a stunning candle-lit glow. Robert’s famous Rose Water is also a go-to classic. This super gentle toner removes any final traces of makeup and leaves a refreshing rose scent upon your skin. What are some of your favorite beautiful pampering products?!
