One of my favorite parts during all the festivities at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim was the Salon Allure event at the gorgeous W Hotel on South Beach. This was the opportunity to have one-on-one time with designers including 6 Shore Road, Frankie’s Bikini’s, Mikoh, and more. It was a chance to meet with designers you already know & love in addition to discovering new ones. One of my discoveries was Anu by Anita Ben. Raised in India, Anita Ben’s collection is currently based out of Australia and available for purchase through her website, private wholesale & select boutiques.
Entitled “Roam Collective Resort,” her 2014 collection is truly a work of art. Her amazing silks and fabrics are both hand-beaded and hand-printed, ensuring that no two pieces are identical. I went straight for the unbelievable long pastel silk caftan in cobalt, one of the highlights of the collection. If you love silky sheaths, willowy caftans, and mixing prints, then Anu by Anita Ben is for you. Truly stunning!
